Welcome to AllAboutPolitics, a forum where people of all political persuasions come together in a strictly spin-free zone where insights are more important than insults and civil discourse matters more than stinging soundbites.

It doesn't matter where you are on the political spectrum - Democrat, Independent, or Republican - AllAboutPolitics is the place to be for intelligent political debate, unvarnished facts and stats, and access to local and national politicians.

AllAboutPolitics is free for all voters, but to participate in debates and follow the feeds of your favorite politicians, you'll need to create a profile, which also is free.

About Us

AllAboutPolitics.com was founded by a team of people who were sick and tired of the political rancor in the US.
The initial impetus for starting this website came from watching one of the 2012 Presidential Debates when, instead of the reporters simply talking about the debate, the stations went to their "fact checkers".

Our response was that our country is in a sad state when we have to fact check someone who is running for the presidency of the US, and if we couldn't believe their words when they were running, what should we expect when they got elected?

It has only gotten worse since then. Now people are loved or hated solely upon whether they have an "R" or a "D" after their name; people who voice an opinion are called racists or bigots by those with differing views;
most people aren't paying enough attention (just watch any TV show with a "man on the street interview" segment), and; TV shows and print media no longer report, they opine, so it has become increasing more difficult for the average person to get the facts to make an informed opinion and/or decision when voting.Hence this website. We pledge to report and get your opinions on the hot topics of the day by equally representing Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and Undecideds in our comments, polls, questions, and other interactions, and to provide at least three sources whenever we respond to questions or suggest solutions.

We hope you find the site worthy – and worthwhile.
